Trotz der Herausforderungen, die der anhaltende Konflikt in der Ukraine mit sich bringt, hat das COOPERA-Projekt seine Ziele erreicht und damit das Engagement aller Beteiligten unter Beweis gestellt.

An dem von der Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova University koordinierten Projekt, waren 14 Partner aus Moldawien, der Ukraine, Bulgarien, Polen, Slowenien, Spanien und Deutschland beteiligt. Dabei unterstützte der Tourismus-Studiengang der DHBW Lörrach das Projekt bei der Integration von dualen Studiengängen in Moldawien und der Ukraine und trug damit zur Verbesserung der Employability der Absolvent*innen durch die Anpassung der Hochschulbildung an die Marktbedürfnisse bei.

An der abschließenden Konferenz nahmen Prof. Dr. Wendy Fehlner und Prof. Dr. Valentin Weislämle von der DHBW Lörrach teil. Die Konferenz wurde durch Reden von Nadejda Velisco, Generalsekretärin des Ministeriums für Bildung und Forschung der Republik Moldau, und Alexandru Stratan, Rektor der Akademie für Wirtschaftsstudien der Republik Moldau eröffnet, die die internationale Zusammenarbeit betonten. Zu den Kernthemen der Konferenz gehörten Trends in der dualen Hochschulbildung in ganz Europa, die einen umfassenden Überblick über die Fortschritte und die zukünftige Ausrichtung der dualen Hochschulbildung gaben. Dabei wurde die erfolgreiche Integration der dualen Hochschulbildung in Moldawien und der Ukraine hervorgehoben, wobei wichtige Meilensteine des Erasmus-Projekts COOPERA aufgezeigt wurden.

Die DHBW begrüßt die erfolgreichen Ergebnisse des COOPERA-Projekts und bedankt sich bei allen Partnern und Teilnehmenden für ihr Engagement.

Celebrating the Success of Dual Higher Education at the COOPERA Concluding Conference

Chișinău, Moldova, July 5, 2024 - The COOPERA Concluding Conference, held from July 4-5, 2024, in Chișinău, Moldova, marked the culmination of the Erasmus+ funded project, a collaborative effort to integrate Dual Higher Education (DHE) in Moldova and Ukraine. This landmark event brought together key stakeholders and highlighted the achievements and future directions of Dual Higher Education.

Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the COOPERA project successfully achieved its goals, demonstrating the resilience and commitment of all involved.

The conference was attended by Prof. Dr. Wendy Fehlner and Prof. Dr. Valentin Weislämle from DHBW Lörrach, who provided input from the DHBW perspective. Over two days of insightful discussions and presentations, the achievements of the project were celebrated, and the future of Dual Higher Education in Moldova and Ukraine was outlined.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Nadejda Velisco, Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, and Alexandru Stratan, Rector of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. Their words set a positive tone for the conference, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration in enhancing higher education.

Key sessions included presentations on trends in Dual Higher Education across Europe, providing a comprehensive overview of the progress and future directions of Dual Higher Education. These sessions highlighted the successful integration of DHE in Moldova and Ukraine, demonstrating significant milestones achieved through the Erasmus project COOPERA. Additionally, discussions included insights from the EU4DUAL initiative, of which DHBW is a part, further enriching the exchange of knowledge and best practices in Dual Higher Education.

The COOPERA project involved collaborative efforts between institutions from Moldova, Ukraine, Spain, Bulgaria, Poland and Germany, reflecting a strong commitment to educational excellence and cross-border cooperation.

As we celebrate the successful outcomes of the COOPERA project, we extend our gratitude to all partners, speakers, and participants for their dedication in aligning higher education with industry needs and fostering regional economic and social integration.
